Job Description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (RBT Track) Pivotal ABA | Northern New Jersey About Us Pivotal ABA is a small, BCBA-owned ABA provider focused on delivering highly individualized services. We work with families who expect a high level of care, consistency, and professionalism, and we take that responsibility seriously. We keep our team small on purpose so we can maintain strong clinical oversight and provide better support to both our clients and staff. Position Overview We are looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or someone actively working toward their RBT, to provide in-home ABA services. This role is best suited for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with families in their home. Reliability and consistency are essential. Responsibilities Implement ABA programs designed by the supervising BCBA Provide 1:1 instruction in the home setting Take accurate data during sessions Work on communication, socialization, behavior, and daily living skills Follow behavior plans as written Keep sessions structured, productive, and engaging Communicate clearly and professionally with parents/caregivers Complete session notes and documentation on time Follow supervision and feedback from the BCBA What Matters in This Role Being on time and showing up consistently Staying organized and following through Building rapport with clients while maintaining structure Being comfortable working in a home environment Treating parents as part of the process, not separate from it Qualifications RBT certification or currently pursuing it Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) Experience working with individuals with autism and ABA Reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check and have references Professional, dependable, and punctual Able to handle the physical aspects of the job (active sessions, community, etc.) What We Offer Ongoing support and supervision from a BCBA A small team environment where your work is noticed Opportunities to build real clinical experience Competitive pay based on experience and performance Why Pivotal ABA We focus on doing things the right way. Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
