The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in home settings . This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and support while fostering a positive environment for learning and growth. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills. Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and interventions as per treatment protocols. Provide direct support in teaching social skills, communication, and adaptive behaviors. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including care plans and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support. Engage in behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health. Requirements Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards. Willing to provide services in home and clinic settings. Strong skills in data collection, medical terminology, and documentation practices. Ability to create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual client needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in behavioral health. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring. 40 hrs RBT training certificate is pre requisite for this job.
