Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role is vital in delivering personalized support that fosters skill development, enhances independence, and promotes positive behavior change. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Implement Behavior Plans
  • Follow your BCBA's detailed protocols to encourage skill development and reduce challenging behaviors based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect Accurate Data
  • Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Track progress using digital systems and communicate updates clearly to your supervising BCBA. Deliver Direct ABA Therapy
  • Provide one-on-one instruction to children and adolescents using tailored ABA strategies to develop communication, play, and social skills. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks. Support Parent Training
  • Collaborate with families during sessions to model effective techniques and support consistency across environments. Promote Positive Behavior
  • Use reinforcement-based methods and respond safely in moments of frustration or escalation. Collaborate and Communicate
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing supervision. Contribute to a Compassionate Culture
  • Support a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for clients, families, and peers.
Support clients in developing communication skills through structured teaching strategies tailored to their needs. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records with care. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and progress tracking. Participate in ongoing training sessions on behavior management techniques, medical terminology, and documentation procedures to enhance your skills. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder. Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies. Ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Compassionate attitude with excellent patience and communication skills tailored for working with diverse populations. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience handling sensitive medical records is preferred but not required. Commitment to ongoing professional development in special education, behavioral health, and patient care practices.
