BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST

Today, we are a leading not-for-profit agency employing 1200+ staff and providing over 70 program sites in Nassau and Suffolk. We are currently seeking a few exceptional people who have a passion to make a meaningful impact by facilitating the lives of the amazing people we support. The Childrens Services of ACLD provides a continuum of services to children in their pre-schools. We currently have an opportunity for a BCBA to join our Bay Shore preschool. In this role, you will conduct assessments including but not limited to FBA, Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS), Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and Assessment of Functional Living (AFLS). You will also be supervising Behavior Support staff. You will also develop treatment plans based on the principles of ABA to address challenging behavior, communication, social skills etc.
We require:
A Master's degree in Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education or related field NYS Certification as a BCBA Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and other diagnostic tools with children with autism. Minimum of 2 years of experience in administering verbal behavior assessments, conducting language, play and skill based assessments, and in designing, implementing and or training others using individualized language, play and skilled based curricula. Must be physically able to handle all aspects of the supervision of the day-to-day activities of preschoolers which may include, but not limited to, running, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs.
