Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and other behavioral challenges. This role involves developing and implementing effective treatment plans, collaborating with families, and providing support to individuals in various settings. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior change and improve the quality of life for clients. Monitor client progress and adjust behavior intervention plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide support and guidance in implementing behavioral strategies. Maintain accurate medical & educational documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide training and supervision to staff members on behavioral therapy techniques and best practices. Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology. Participate in school-based team meetings, CSE meetings and support adminstrators Qualifications Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required. Students encouraged to apply! Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with behavioral challenges is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence in decision-making. A background in special education or experience providing patient care is a plus.
