Job Description

Are you passionate about helping individuals with autism thrive? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team! Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect data on client progress and behavior to inform treatment decisions. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure treatment consistency.
Qualifications:
Completion of a 40-hour RBT course is required ; being Registered with the Board is preferred. Spanish-speakindg candidates are preffered A Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or related developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow directions and implement behavior plans accurately. Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain confidentiality.
Skills:
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures. Understanding of positive reinforcement strategies. Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors using appropriate techniques. Experience as a teacher assistant, paraprofessional, or in a related educational/behavioral support role is preferred.
