Job Description

Behavior Technician RBT Join our team at WonDIRful Play as a Behavior Technician RBT, where you'll play a vital role in providing in-home or daycare-based therapy to children with developmental disabilities. With a competitive hourly rate of $20 - $30 HOURLY , you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these incredible young individuals. About the
Role:
As a Registered Behavior Technician RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client's quality of life. You'll work closely with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families
Qualifications:
A Registered Behavior Technician RBT must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (due to the physical nature of the role and potential to assist clients with mobility) Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for community and in-home services) Clean background check required for working with children and families
