Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school-based setting near White Plains, NY. Your expertise will play a crucial part in providing one-on-one and small group behavioral support, helping students unlock their fullest potential in an inclusive educational environment. In this contract position, you'll be surrounded by passionate educators and dedicated professionals who value your skills and commitment to evidence-based practices. You'll collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and families to implement tailored interventions that enhance daily learning experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Prior experience working within a school setting or with children/adolescents preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to implement and follow behavior intervention plans accurately Organizational skills for meticulous data collection and timely documentation Compassion, patience, and a student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans under the guidance of a BCBA Provide support and direct assistance to students with diverse needs during academic and social activities Collect, record, and summarize data relating to student behaviors and progress Help foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Communicate regularly and effectively with team members, parents, and school staff
