Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of children with behavioral needs following a school schedule! We serve over 30 School Districts and are looking for a highly skilled Intervention Specialist with strong behavior experience to manage and lead an Elementary Behavior Classroom of students with behavior and mental health issues. Plentiful opportunites for supervision for BCBA or BCaBA candidates. The role of Intervention Specialist is to assess, plan, develop, and monitor educational and behavioral supports to meet the needs of students with behavior, social, and/or communication challenges. The Intervention Specialist manages a caseload of students with diverse learning and behavioral needs, ensuring they receive an individualized educational experience. The position involves collaboration with school administration and staff, RBTs, families, and other service providers. The Intervention Specialist works a typical school day (approximately 8:30am-4:00pm) and follows the academic calendar of the district they are appointed to. We provide a competitive salary based on experience and knowledge working in schools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Teaching License through the Ohio Department of Education (Intervention Specialist) Clear FBI/BCI Reports Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or ability obtain RBT within 30 days of start date Ability to obtain & maintain certifications necessary for individual districts (Rapback, Fraud training, Educator ID, etc.)
