Job Description

Who are you? You are a caring and dedicated professional that is invested in helping individuals return to a pre-crisis level of functioning. Make a difference in your local community by working with individuals that have a primary mental health diagnosis and/or co-occurring disorders. You will be part of a versatile team that will implement client treatment plans that are established for each resident. Under guidance of the Residential Manager, you will oversee the direct care of the residents during designated working hours. You will work with clients who are admitted on an emergency status to reduce their level of distress and stabilize the crisis situation. You oversee the cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene skills of residents, and oversee the residents in taking their medications. You observe residents' behavior and functioning, monitor progress on treatment plans, and communicate with appropriate team members, while also offering encouragement of the residents to be involved in their own treatment. You understand the need to be a positive role model for the residents and provide ongoing guidance with the use of motivational interviewing. Work in cooperation with other providers, family members, or significant others involved in the residents' recovery plan. Facilitate programming using evidence-based behavioral management techniques.
You have:
HSD/GED A
valid driver's license and car insurance Willing to work weekends 2nd Shift (Friday & Saturday 4pm-12am midnight) CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one Ability to regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously. Willingness to submit background check, drug testing and fingerprinting
Preferably:
Experience working in a residential environment A knowledge base of psychological disorders and related behaviors Experience de-escalating situations Who are we?
