Registered Behavior Technician in Versailles, OH

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract This contract position is for a 1:1 aide supporting an 8th grade student with autism at a school in Versailles, OH. The student communicates using PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), and the role requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with experience in autism support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, individualized support to the student throughout the school day. Implement behavior intervention plans and use PECS to facilitate communication. Monitor and record the student's progress and behaviors accurately. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to promote the student's success. Maintain a positive, patient, and consistent approach to behavior management.

Qualifications:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Experience working with children diagnosed with autism. Familiarity with PECS communication methods. Ability to start promptly at 7:00 AM and work full-time hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Strong observation and reporting skills.
