Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated support professional for the full school year. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work hands-on within PreK and elementary classrooms, guiding students to success while collaborating with passionate educational teams. Bring your expertise as a paraprofessional or behavior specialist, especially if you have previous experience as a behavior technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Your knowledge and compassion will help foster positive behavior, promote inclusion, and support both academic and social growth of students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Experience working with children in PreK or elementary school settings Background as a paraprofessional, behavior specialist, or similar educational support role Previous experience as a behavior technician or RBT is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to implement and reinforce positive behavioral strategies Patient, caring, and able to adapt to changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students, assisting with learning activities and behavioral goals Work one-on-one or in small groups to encourage positive social and academic outcomes Partner with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education and behavior plans Monitor, track, and document student progress throughout the school year Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all learners Enjoy the rewarding experience of full-time work throughout the entire school year, making an impact each and every day.
