Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through behavioral health and developmental support! In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement evidence-based interventions rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), utilizing principles of behavioral therapy and ABA. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence. Support the development of social, communication, and functional skills through engaging teaching strategies tailored to each individual's needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and proper recordkeeping. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral health interventions and care plans. Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care, behavior management, and medical terminology. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively. Excellent data collection skills to track progress accurately over time. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical documentation practices, and medical records management. Effective teaching abilities combined with patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
