Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Lake Oswego, OR BlazerJobs - 3.4 Lake Oswego, OR Job Details Full-time | Contract 7 hours ago Qualifications Student progress monitoring BCBA Full Job Description Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in an engaging educational environment near Lake Oswego, OR. This full-time, contract role offers the chance to provide specialized instruction and support to students from kindergarten through age 21, helping them reach their academic and social potential. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will work across a variety of settings, collaborating closely with educators, families, and service providers to create safe, productive, and inclusive classrooms.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential Experience delivering research-based interventions for students with ASD, including Asperger's Syndrome and high-functioning autism Strong background in administering assessments and interpreting data to guide instruction and eligibility Ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized behavior support plans Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles within various instructional frameworks Proficient in adapting general/special education curriculum for diverse student learning needs Collaborative team player with experience facilitating meetings and training staff, families, and service providers Commitment to respecting and affirming students' and families' cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement interventions that build academic and behavioral skills Collect and analyze behavioral data; adjust plans as needed Administer educational and functional assessments; interpret and communicate results Develop and update IEPs with multidisciplinary teams Provide training for district staff, parents, and related service providers on best practices and intervention strategies Promote student independence and self-advocacy through tailored recreation and leisure activities Maintain positive communication with all team members to foster student growth Remain current on best practices in ASD education and district policies Implement crisis prevention and management strategies as needed This is an exciting opportunity to influence student outcomes in a supportive setting.
