Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Enhance your career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working within a supportive school environment near Silverton, OR. This is an onsite, full-time contract position, spanning from September 8, 2026, to December 18, 2026, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact as maternity leave coverage and classroom support. This role lets you dedicate your skills to a single site—fostering continuity and meaningful student relationships.
Key Qualifications:
Active RBT credential and SPED certification/license in Oregon Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician in a school setting preferred Ability to provide three most recent supervisor references for application consideration Strong interpersonal and communication skills when collaborating with educators and students Comfortable working full-time onsite (37.5 hours/week) for the entire contract duration
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavior intervention and support to students in classroom settings Collaborate with special education teams to develop and implement individualized behavior plans Document student progress, maintain data logs, and report findings to supervising staff as needed Participate in regular supervision (to be determined) and ongoing professional development Foster a positive, inclusive, and proactive learning environment for all students
