Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a positive difference in students' lives by providing essential support as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within a collaborative school environment near Bethlehem, PA. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a powerful impact through hands-on behavioral support and teamwork with committed educators and professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Previous experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings preferred. Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work patiently, compassionately, and effectively with students exhibiting a variety of behavioral needs. Adaptable, reliable, and able to follow established treatment plans and protocols.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions to students under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Collect and accurately document data regarding student progress, behaviors, and interventions. Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined and provide constructive feedback to both students and supervising staff. Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA. Maintain confidentiality in all student matters and adhere to school policies and ethical guidelines.
