Job Description

Behavior Technician (RBT) - Paid Training At Soar Autism Center, Behavior Technicians help children ages 26 with autism learn, communicate, and grow through play. Our care is based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This is a great early career opportunity to build hands-on experience in psychology and child development while making a meaningful impact every day. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping children grow and may come from childcare, daycare, paraprofessional, direct support, behavioral health, education, or caregiving backgrounds. What Youll Do Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in our center. Implement individualized plans created by Masters-level clinicians and share progress with families. Bring skills from childcare, daycare, education, caregiving, or paraprofessional work into a highly supported clinical environment. Grow Your Career at Soar No RBT certification? Soars RBT career progression program, Soar to New Heights, creates opportunities for raises and promotions every 3 months as you build your skills. Team members can advance through multiple RBT levels and explore longer-term paths in behavior analysis, psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, training, operations, and other behavioral health careers. What We Offer $21.50 - $28.50/hour; initial offers are typically $21.50$22.75/hour, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. Sign on bonus included with all offers. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits; student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement. Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time roles. Paid training for RBT certification, ongoing professional development, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. What Were Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification); preference for enrollment in or completion of a bachelors degree program, with ideal candidates pursuing degrees in child development, psychology, education, or a related field. Experience working with children is preferred, including childcare, daycare, caregiving, paraprofessional, direct support, or behavioral health experience. Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment. Reliable transportation, punctuality, teamwork, and comfort using computers/tablets. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, move quickly, occasionally run short distances, and lift up to 50 lbs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
