Overview The psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents with severe emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disabilities is best accomplished within a comprehensive treatment program specifically designed to meet individualized needs. For this reason, Southwood Psychiatric Hospital has created an Intellectual Developmental Disability / Autism Spectrum Disorder (IDD/ASD) Residential Treatment Program. Located in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania, the IDD/ASD Program provides treatment for up to 44 males between the ages of 6 and 21 years of age. The staff-to-child ratio in this program is 1:4, ensuring that each patient who takes part in this programming option has the thorough support he needs to be successful during the treatment process. located in Canonsburg, PA (south of Pittsburgh). Please note however, we are not on the public transportation system and individuals working in a patient-facing role, must be 21-years of age. Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Assist in the implementation of ABA programming on the Specialized Pediatric Unit Provides supervision to the Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Associates Trains new staff on ABA techniques Keeps abreast of advances in treatment and sets appropriate goals for self-improvement Facilitates daily team meetings Attends staff meetings as required and completes all yearly mandatory in-services Provides direct services to the patients on the Specialized Pediatric Unit Conducts the appropriate assessments including ADOS and other specific assessments in atimely manner Participates in performance improvement activities Follows all hospital/facility policies and procedures Must maintain license or certification in good standing Flexible schedule. Possible weekends or evenings when appropriate Employee will be required to perform other job related duties as assigned by their supervisor

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 Experience with the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Experience with working with adolescent population Must be skilled and competent to provide services to the patient.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

 Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by BACB CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered byfacility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
