Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming school year! This contract opportunity is perfect for a data-driven professional eager to shape positive outcomes across a vibrant district embracing the BCBA discipline for the first time. You'll have the chance to collaborate with educators and staff at three diverse school sites, fostering meaningful change within both general and special education settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current BCBA certification required Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred Strong background in data collection, functional behavioral assessments (FBA), and developing behavior intervention plans Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff Skilled in delivering direct services and supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs Must be comfortable providing an FBA sample and professional references as part of the application
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver full-time, onsite services, dedicating 37-40 hours weekly across three school campuses Conduct direct observations and implement behavioral interventions in both general and special education classrooms Work closely with teachers, school psychologists, and support teams to drive student success Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior plans Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a behavioral expert Lead assessments, document student progress, and make data-informed recommendations district-wide By joining this district, you have the unique opportunity to establish best practices, build lasting relationships, and leave a lasting impact as their first BCBA professional.
