Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your passion for behavioral health and education in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Duties Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment plans and ensure effective intervention strategies. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and communication skills, promoting independence. Implement behavior management plans designed by supervising BCBAs to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors. Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that fosters learning and growth. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment approaches and promote client success. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support patient care needs compassionately. Proficiency in data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to implement individualized care plans effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Have you completed the 40 hour RBT training? Do you have a certificate of completion for the 40 hour RBT training? Do you have an active CPR Certification? Do you have an active CPI, Safety Care, or equivalent crisis training certification?
