Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting a fifth-grade student as a 1:1 Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In this role, you'll work within an intermediate educational environment near Lansdale, PA, where you'll play an essential part in helping a brand-new student adjust and thrive. Your expertise will be crucial as you assist with daily routines, monitor behaviors, and work collaboratively with faculty and staff. If you're comfortable working with students who may exhibit aggressive behaviors and possess a passion for delivering individualized support, you'll find this placement rewarding and impactful.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience providing behavioral support in a school setting preferred Ability to manage and respond appropriately to challenging or aggressive behaviors Excellent communication and documentation skills Adaptable and patient demeanor to support new students effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to a fifth-grade student throughout the school day Implement and follow behavior intervention plans as directed Monitor, document, and report on student behaviors and progress Offer academic and instructional assistance in coordination with teachers and specialists Foster a positive, structured, and supportive environment for the student This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 3rd.
