Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician! This position extends through the remainder of this school year, continues over Extended School Year (ESY) in the summer, and carries into the next academic year, providing meaningful continuity for professionals who thrive in school settings. You'll work one-on-one with an 18-year-old male student, delivering tailored behavioral support. The student requires compassionate assistance and may at times display physical aggression, so calm, attentive professionals with experience in similar environments are encouraged to apply. You'll be part of a caring educational community, collaborating with a dedicated team and school staff throughout your assignment.
Key qualifications:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required Previous experience working in a school or with students with disabilities Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans Comfort supporting individuals with challenging behaviors, including physical aggression Excellent communication and collaboration skills Reliability and commitment to the agreed contract dates Position highlights: Work closely with one student, building a trusted and supportive relationship over time Consistent, structured schedule during regular and extended school year (M-F, 7:15 am - 2:30 pm;
ESY:
