In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive positive outcomes through evidence-based practices, data collection, and comprehensive assessments. As a BCBA, you will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress and enhance quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and strengths. Develop, implement, and monitor customized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly. Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff to ensure fidelity of intervention delivery. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care plans and support services. Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in intake assessments and ongoing patient care activities to support comprehensive behavioral health services. Skills Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform treatment decisions. Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families. Commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA standards for medical documentation.
