Why Orca ABA? Orca ABA is a supportive "pod" for children, families, and the professionals who support them. Inspired by the way orcas live and work together, we believe strength comes from collaboration, shared responsibility, and community. At Orca, every child and family is surrounded by a dedicated "pod" of support, bringing together compassionate care, clinical expertise, consistency, and connection.
Our goal is simple:
to make ABA feel more personal, supportive, and collaborative, so families never feel like they have to navigate it alone.
Position Summary:
Orca ABA is hiring BCBAs for both part-time hourly and full-time salaried positions. Salt Lake City serves as the center of our service area, with client care extending throughout the Wasatch Front. We currently provide in-home and community-based ABA services while working toward opening our clinic. We are especially looking for a BCBA in the Lehi, Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, and surrounding areas. This is currently a hybrid, home-based position, so occasional local travel between client homes is required. We are a small team with high clinical standards and a practical, compassionate approach. Our BCBAs have a direct role in shaping treatment, coaching technicians, partnering with caregivers, and helping clients use new skills in everyday settings.
What You Will Do:
Assess clients and develop individualized, measurable treatment plans and behavior support plans. Supervise and coach RBTs through observation, modeling, data review, and specific feedback. Provide caregiver training and coordinate with families and other professionals as appropriate. Monitor outcomes, update programs, and maintain timely, accurate documentation. Travel to assigned homes and community settings; support clinic services when available.
What We Are Looking For:
Current BCBA or BCBA-D certification and Utah LBA licensure, or ability to obtain the Utah license before providing services that require it. Strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, clear communication, and a collaborative approach to supervision. Availability for some after-school or evening sessions; occasional weekend availability may be helpful. Reliable transportation for travel within the assigned service area. Experience with older children or teens, complex behavior, caregiver coaching, or Spanish-language services is a plus.
Position and Pay:
Part-time hourly and full-time salaried positions are available. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role. Schedule and service area(s) will be discussed with candidates.
Apply:
Please apply through Indeed with your resume and include your BCBA certification, Utah licensure status, preferred full-time or part-time schedule, and availability for after-school hours. Orca ABA is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to protected status and provide reasonable accommodation in the hiring process.
