In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee evidence-based behavioral therapies that promote meaningful progress and improve quality of life. Your expertise will guide families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams through comprehensive assessments and tailored intervention plans, ensuring compassionate patient care and adherence to privacy standards. Duties Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and strengths. Develop personalized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to target specific goals related to communication, social skills, daily living, and behavior reduction. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy sessions with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Provide training, supervision, and support to behavior technicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure consistency in therapy delivery. Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care. Qualifications Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential. Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, patient assessment procedures, and HIPAA compliance. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments. Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation.
