Job Description
Job Overview Next Step Therapy and Vocational LLC (NSTV) is a community-based day program and therapeutic consultation provider. We are hiring a BCBA consultant for adults on the DD waiver; hybrid model (both in-person and virtual/at home). Consulting both day program, home, and residential services. Experience in adults (ages 24 - 54) with various intellectual and developmental disabilities, experience in writing behavior plans, experience in conducting assessments, flexible schedule within program hours, comfortable consulting/teaching others to support/implement/maintain behavior plans, engaging and motivating personality, collecting and analyzing data, collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team, dependable, flexible, organized, and excellent communicator. Part-time hours that can progress to full-time. What you'll do Conduct assessments Create behavior plans Implement/maintain/train behavior plan across multiple environments Collect and analyze data/progress through both in-person and virtual visits Session tracking through contact/consult notes Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team Qualifications Valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Proven experience working with adults, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodevelopmental disorders, or other developmental disabilities Experience conducting behavioral psychological assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA) Knowledge of procedures and documentation requirements under HIPAA and DBHDS regulations Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate/motivating approach
