The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles. Monitor and analyze client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other team members on behavior management strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral concerns and recommend appropriate interventions. Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and apply best practices in your work. Qualifications Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with behavioral health principles and practices is essential. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and professionals. A compassionate approach towards clients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their unique challenges.
