$3,000 Autism of America is currently looking for qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA's). Position Summary:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and supervision of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA works collaboratively with families, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, individualized services.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement assessments for program placement and to measure progress Conduct behavioral assessments Monitor ABA therapy sessions Provide training, evaluation, supervision, and feedback for Behavior Therapist in home-based environments Offer support and training to parents according to goals that are described in the treatment plan Responsible for accurate documentation and reports Develop individualized, data-based treatment plans, and recommendations for treatment services Creating and implementing customized behavior plans with ongoing data analysis to modify as necessary Ability to communicate effectively Lead by example with a positive attitude Ensure effective communication between all team members Monitor the development of children in home, the community, and/or other natural settings Maintain caseload of billable hours in addition to supervisory duties
Qualifications:
One year of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Demonstrate excellent leadership Must obtain a Michigan BCBA license Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Education:
Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
License:
Maintain Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (This position is not available to candidates without certification.) Must obtain a Michigan BCBA license
