The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This position is ideal for someone looking for a hybrid position, with a mix of both in-person and remote hours (details negotiable depending on experience). As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing support to clients and their families. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings. Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine the appropriate course of treatment for clients. Monitor client progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary. Provide training and support to staff members on best practices in behavior analysis. Engage with families to educate them about behavioral strategies and interventions. Skills Proficient in patient assessment techniques and tools. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy methodologies. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Ability to maintain detailed medical records accurately. Experience working with children in therapeutic settings is preferred. Strong diagnostic evaluation skills to assess client needs effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
