Programs (Context for the BCBA Role) PreK-8 Academic Program Grounded in Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching , supporting core academic skills with explicit and systematic teaching focused on: mastery fluency generalization This program is designed for students with learning disabilities and neurodiverse profiles who benefit from structured, data-driven instruction. Clinical ABA Program (Ages 3-13) Our Clinical ABA Program is cognition-linguistically based and emphasizes cognitive skill development and social behavior learning within a structured instructional environment. The program integrates Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with strategies that support: language development reasoning executive functioning social competence Instruction is individualized, data-driven, and focused on building foundational skills that support learning, communication, and independence. Instructional and Therapeutic Framework Across Programs Across ExcelPrep programs, we center: Direct Instruction and instructional design Precision Teaching and data-based decision making instruction grounded in behavior science research Occupational Therapy as a prioritized therapy alongside ABA to support sensory-motor development Position Summary (School-Based BCBA) ExcelPrep Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a school-based role in Champaign, IL and/or Bloomington, IL . In this position, you will provide clinical leadership for ABA services for students ages 3-13 , delivering behavior-analytic programming that supports both behavioral and learning outcomes. You will conduct assessments, develop and oversee behavior intervention plans (BIPs) , provide BCBA supervision , and use data-based decision making to ensure measurable progress. You will also collaborate closely with instructional and therapeutic teams to support integrated academic and therapeutic goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Provide BCBA supervision and ensure implementation fidelity and treatment integrity Collect, review, and interpret data to support precision teaching and program decisions Train and coach behavior technicians/staff on ABA strategies, data collection, and reinforcement procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated therapeutic and academic outcomes Ensure services are delivered ethically and in compliance with BACB standards and applicable requirements Qualifications Active BCBA certification Experience working with neurodiverse children and/or ABA services (preferred) Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and behavior plan development Ability to collaborate with educational and therapeutic teams Strong written and verbal communication Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice Compensation $75,000-$90,000/year $3,000 bonus How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume, or email careers@excelprepschools.org with your resume and certifications.
