As a Classroom-Based Services BCaBA or BCBA you will have multiple pay/schedule options available to you! You will work to unlock a wonderful new world for children with autism. This is an opportunity to take your practice into an interdisciplinary, school-based atmosphere, surrounded by supportive clinical and educational staff. You will have the opportunity to not only support the Marion, IN community school systems this positions offers a variety of schedules/ salary packages to choose from. CBS BCBAs will provide clinical supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), and Supervision Students in one of the Marion Community School District schools. You will be responsible for each client's clinical progress, working as a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and educate team members to reach high level outcomes. As a leader in the ABS Supportive Services family, you will use positivity, creativity, and talent to create specialized treatment packages and behavior intervention plans to help each child reach their highest level of independence and quality of living. BCBAs are responsible for timely submission of initial and ongoing treatment plans, program updates, clinical notes, ongoing data review and client-staff specific training. Each BCBA will receive a stipend for professional development and training in specialty areas within the field of ABA.Requirements:
Qualification Requirements:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree encompassing behavior analytic content. Active BACB credential such as a BCaBA or BCBA 1st Aid/CPR - Will need to provide documentation if previously obtained, if no active certification you willingness be willing to obtain within 60 days of starting employment Crisis Management (Safety Care Training) - Will need to provide documentation if previously obtained, if you do not have an active certification you must be willing to obtain one within 60 days of starting employment or willingness to become certified in any Marion Community behavior management strategy requirements [company provided training] Valid driver's license Must provide a full Indiana State Police Criminal Background Check. Flexibility to travel between the different schools within the community school districtPreferred Experience:
Experience in Early Intervention for children 15 months to 14 years old. Experience leading/supporting other staff members. Proficiency with parent coaching. Experience providing behavior-based services to general and special education students; conducting FBAs; developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans and data collection systemsClassroom-Based Services BCBA Responsibilities and Duties:
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and appropriate assessments and interventions for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Develop behavior protocols and data collection systems designed for the needs of specific programs to be implemented in the school environment Develop individualized curriculum and support with generalization to individualized behaviors Evaluate child progress based on work output and observation and use this evidence to determine goals, objectives and directions. Provide RBT supervision as required by BACB to maintain certification. Support the professional development of RBTs. Implementation of parent/caregiver collaboration opportunities to facilitate the generalization of skills Review and input billing notes. Submit and follow billing cycles. Trains, directs, and monitors caregivers and/or the work of teachers and staff assigned to work with students with behavioral challenges Collaborates with a variety of service providers and agencies within the school and/or in the community to most effectively address student's therapeutic needs Participates in meetings, including Individual Educational Plan (IEP) meetings, 504 meetings, Multidisciplinary Teams (MTSS) meetings, student-related staffings, and manifest determination meetingsBenefits:
