Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in providing behavior analysis services to learners with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the development and implementation of effective treatment plans and interventions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive skill-acquisition assessments and functional behavior assessments to identify the needs and challenges of individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Implement behavior reduction plans and provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians.
Monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to modify treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, including session notes, data collection, and reports.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) through ongoing professional development.
Experience:
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
At least 3 years of experience working with learners with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, methodologies, and techniques.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Proficient in medical documentation, including patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and patient care.
