Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans in thier homes. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress, enhance quality of life, and promote positive behavioral changes. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, and feeding, to promote independence Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills and managing behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, care plans, and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care and behavioral health practices Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility for certification through a recognized program Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies aligned with individualized care plans Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding of medical terminology and records management Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of client information Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and team members Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
