9671740-03038 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role supporting students in an elementary classroom environment where your expertise can make a real difference. We are seeking a professionally trained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a Behavior Technician/Para with robust experience working with behavioral needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this onsite position, you'll help shape positive behaviors and create an enriching educational experience for young learners.
Role Overview:
Contract position spanning from October 2026 to late May 2027 Work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 3:15 pm Support classroom activities within an elementary school setting Direct supervision and collaboration with an onsite
BCBA Essential Qualifications:
Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; please submit proof of certification with your application Alternatively, candidates with significant Behavior Tech/Para experience specifically in behavior-focused and ASD environments will be considered Direct experience in behavior/ASD settings is required1:1 experience alone is not sufficient Committed to working onsite; remote/virtual options are not available Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other specialists to foster a supportive learning environment Support students in developing coping and social skills Collect and maintain accurate data regarding student progress Provide proactive, compassionate care to students with behavioral needs This role offers professional growth through close BCBA mentorship and the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and educational teams.
