BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST
Position SummarySchool-based BCBA position. This position is in a Non-Public Special Education School, there is no traveling required for this position.

Salary position with guaranteed hours every week.

Work hours are 7:30 - 3:00 with a lunch break. Work days are Monday through Friday. BCBAs are not asked to work after hours or on weekends.

All school vacations and holidays paid, 2 additional paid weeks off in the summer and additional PTO with numerous additional benefits.

No insurance billing or service delivery requirements. Caseloads are managed based on the priority of effectively meeting the individualized needs of each student.

Manageable caseloads with ongoing support from the Clinical Director and BCBA team collaboration.

The BCBA will be responsible for behavior support oversight of assigned classrooms. Students ages range between 5-22 and have a primary diagnosis of Autism or other Developmental DisabilitiesBCBAs will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team which includes Special Educators, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Vocational Specialists, and Social Workers. BCBAs will participate in all aspects of the IEP process.

Create individualized behavior data sheets and oversee classroom data collection with assistance with data entry from graduate students.

Provide ongoing modeling and training for classroom staff.
Qualifications:
,..Must demonstrate knowledge of the scientific approach to understanding behavior and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program preferred.

Certified as a BCBA, BCaBA or eligible to sit for the BCBA exam within 6 months.

Licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health or eligible within 6 months.

Prior experience working with students with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
