Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a 1:1 preschool student with autism and communication needs in an integrated special education classroom. This role is based in East Greenwich, RI, within a supportive district setting focused on early childhood development. The student requires specialized attention due to a short attention span and high energy levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized behavior interventions and support to a preschool student on the autism spectrum. Collaborate closely with a special education teacher and two paraprofessionals in a classroom of eight children. Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques consistent with RBT standards. Monitor and document student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team. Address the student's communication needs through targeted strategies and behavioral supports.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing. Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly those with autism and communication challenges. Ability to engage a student with a short attention span and high energy level in classroom activities. Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with educators and support staff.

Location & Schedule:

East Greenwich, RI.

Full-time hours preferred:

9:15 AM to 3:30 PM.

Part-time option available:
