9644905-29631 Job Description Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting as a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with students who face complex behavioral challenges. This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute vital support within a school environment near Clemson, SC. Your expertise in recognizing, de-escalating, and managing triggers for students, particularly those with a history of aggressive behaviors, elopement, and sensitivities tied to PTSD, will be invaluable.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Understanding of aggressive behaviors and elopement in children and adolescents. Familiarity with behavioral health, especially working with students triggered by loud sounds or music. Experience implementing de-escalation strategies and crisis intervention. Strong communication and collaborative skills with staff, students, and families. Ability to document behaviors and track progress objectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement behavioral interventions, following individualized plans and recommendations. Support students whose behaviors are triggered by environmental factors such as loud sounds. Track and report student progress and behavioral data regularly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to adapt strategies to students needs. Create and maintain a safe environment, intervening calmly and effectively during episodes of aggression or elopement. Support students both in the classroom and one-on-one as needed.
