In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective patient care and support. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes to ensure accurate tracking. Assist clients in developing daily living skills and social skills through structured activities. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques to promote positive outcomes. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of medical documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in behavior analysis and patient care. Qualifications Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required. Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is advantageous. Strong data collection skills, with attention to detail in recording client progress. Ability to educate clients and families effectively about behavioral interventions. Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and privacy standards.
