Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavioral support under BCBA supervision, maintaining a consistently safe and encouraging environment. Utilize evidence-based strategies, including verbal redirection and proactive management techniques. Track daily data on behaviors, escalating trends, and progress toward goals. Communicate regularly with the multidisciplinary team, sharing observations and insight to inform adjustments in behavioral plans. Flexibly respond to student needs and adapt interventions as necessary to meet individual goals.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience supporting elementary-age children, especially in a school-based environment. Demonstrated effectiveness managing behavioral challenges (work avoidance, aggression). Skilled in positive reinforcement, de-escalation, and verbal redirection techniques. Strong communication and collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary teams. This position currently offers part-time hours (2 hours daily) with the potential to expand to full-time as the caseload grows.
