Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract A fulfilling contract opportunity is now open for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a profound impact during the 2026-2027 school year, with potential for Extended School Year (ESY) involvement. This role offers a chance to work full-time, engaging with students to target behavioral needs and foster long-lasting growth. The setting is within close proximity to scenic locations and provides an enriching, supportive environment. Candidates will work closely with students, focusing on the implementation and supervision of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques that support emotional regulation and positive behavioral change.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required Prior experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing/implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Comfortable with hands-on delivery of ABA therapy interventions Familiarity with strategies for teaching coping mechanisms and de-escalation techniques Strong collaboration skills and ability to mentor or guide team members Willingness to provide in-home services to students is a plus, but not mandatory Ability to adapt and meet diverse student needs within a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs tailored to student needs Implement and model evidence-based ABA practices to reduce challenging behaviors Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistency and generalization of interventions Monitor progress, maintain data collection, and revise strategies as needed Provide support and training to relevant personnel on best practices Create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for student growth This contract position offers the unique opportunity to enrich student lives while advancing your professional development within a collaborative school atmosphere.
