Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! This full-time contract position places you at the forefront of meaningful impact, working approximately 37.5 hours per week with a collaborative school-based team. You'll play a vital role for students who benefit from the positive influence of applied behavior analysis, helping them develop key coping skills and de-escalation strategies. What makes this role unique is the chance to work directly with students engaging in hands-on ABA therapy—and, if you're interested, there may also be opportunities to provide in-home services for families seeking additional support. Your expertise will guide the creation and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), directly influencing student growth and overall wellbeing.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification Previous work in school settings strongly preferred Comfort and proficiency in applied ABA therapy, especially with hands-on techniques Experience developing and monitoring FBAs and BIPs Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams Flexibility if interested in supplemental in-home ABA services (optional, not required)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive functional behavioral assessments and develop targeted intervention plans Coach staff and collaborate with educators to implement behavior strategies Work closely with students to teach coping mechanisms and de-escalation skills Monitor progress and adapt practices to maximize student success Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP or team meetings This position provides a fulfilling opportunity to use your ABA expertise in a supportive school environment, helping students achieve their greatest potential.
