Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies based on individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort through de-escalation techniques when necessary. Engage with clients providing emotional support and fostering positive communication. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols related to mental health and behavioral care. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and crisis de-escalation methods. Experience working within special education settings or mental health environments is highly desirable. Background in social work, addiction counseling, or substance use disorder treatment is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion. Strong communication skills for client interaction, documentation accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
