The RBT will work directly with clients, primarily individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, to implement behavior intervention plans designed to improve their quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of behavior management techniques and the ability to collect and analyze data effectively. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide direct support to clients, focusing on behavior management and skill acquisition. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques that promote positive outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Assist in the development of treatment plans by providing insights based on data collected during sessions. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Prior experience in patient care or working with individuals with autism is preferred but not required. Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and data collection methods is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is beneficial. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members. A commitment to ongoing education in behavior management practices is important for success in this role.
