Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School-Based Autism Transition Program Location Germantown/Cordova, TN Area Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (School Calendar) Compensation Competitive; based on experience and qualifications Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to oversee and support a young adult with autism during the final two years of high school. This position involves providing monitoring and support within the school setting between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, averaging 4 to 6 hours per week. This role is part of a school-based transition program designed to prepare the student for adulthood through vocational training, community participation, independent living skills, communication development, and employment readiness. The BCBA will collaborate closely with the student, family, school staff, and support team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized programming that promotes meaningful progress toward adult independence. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight and supervision of ABA services. Monitor student progress and make data-based treatment decisions. Support vocational training, employment readiness, and community-based instruction. Collaborate with families, school personnel, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistency across settings. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with ethical and professional standards. Qualifications Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Experience working with adolescents or young adults with autism preferred. Strong knowledge of ABA principles, assessment procedures, and behavior intervention strategies. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Reliable transportation. Ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams. Tennessee licensure (if applicable) or the ability to obtain licensure.
