About Us Developmental Journeys ABA is a family-focused ABA company dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate, and ethical services to children and their families. We believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to treatment. Our model emphasizes caregiver involvement, collaboration, and meaningful progress within the environments where children naturally live, learn, and play. Unlike many traditional ABA organizations, we prioritize family participation, individualized treatment recommendations, clinical autonomy, and quality of care over rigid productivity expectations. Position Summary Developmental Journeys ABA is seeking a passionate and dedicated BCBA to provide direct and supervisory ABA services in home, school, and community settings. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working directly with clients and families, values caregiver collaboration, and believes meaningful outcomes occur when families are active participants in treatment. The BCBA will provide assessment, treatment planning, direct intervention, caregiver training, and collaboration with schools and other professionals as appropriate. What Makes This Position Different? ✔ Family-guidance treatment model ✔ Meaningful caregiver involvement in therapy sessions ✔ Direct work with clients ✔ Flexible scheduling ✔ Individualized treatment recommendations ✔ Collaborative and supportive leadership ✔ Opportunity to help shape a growing organization ✔ Clinical autonomy and ethical decision-making Essential Responsibilities Conduct behavior assessments and functional assessments Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans Provide direct ABA therapy services when clinically appropriate Deliver caregiver training using a collaborative coaching model Collect, analyze, and interpret client data Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with families, schools, physicians, and related service providers Participate in treatment team meetings Complete documentation and reports within required timelines Ensure compliance with BACB Ethical Code and payer requirements Family Guidance Model Expectations At Developmental Journeys ABA, caregivers are viewed as essential members of the treatment team.
BCBAs are expected to:
Actively involve caregivers in treatment sessions when appropriate Provide hands-on coaching and support Teach behavior analytic principles in practical, family-friendly ways Develop goals that reflect family priorities and daily routines Foster positive and collaborative relationships with caregivers Empower families to confidently implement strategies outside of therapy sessions
Qualifications Required:
Current BCBA certification Tennessee Licensed Behavior Analyst (or ability to obtain) Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field Reliable transportation Ability to travel to client homes, schools, and community locations Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred:
