Overview We are a niche, BCBA owned start-up company looking for our first awesome RBT as we navigate our pilot phase in the Greater North Austin area. We are a specialized social skills program focused on neuro affirming practices, strength based goals and non-compliance goals. We are looking for one or two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or BCaBA who are ready to trade in the fluorescent lights of a traditional clinic for the coziness of a social skills group.
The Role:
This is much more than a traditional RBT or BCaBA role. You will facilitate social skill games for neurodivergent individuals (ages 10+ and young adults with low support needs) using our proprietary clinical framework. Your job is to weave pre-determined clinical target skills (self-advocacy, collaboration, perspective-taking) directly into the narrative of a game.

We want you to be confident in what you do AND have a ton of fun. This position allows for up to 24 hours of paid training at admin rate for the program.Competitive Pay:
We value your dual expertise in behavior and gaming. We also realize that this is more than an RBT position and should be compensated accordingly. For the right person we are willing to pay: ◦$30/hr for all direct service (expected to be 8-16 hours a month to start). $15/hr for admin time (Prep, data entry, and debriefing) at 6 hours a month. The Ideal CandidateThe Credentials:
Must be a currently certified RBT or BCaBA in good standing with the BACB.Location:
Must be currently located in the Greater North Austin Area, Cedar Park Georgetown, Hutto, Leander, Dripping Springs etc. We do not provide relocation assistance at this time.

You have gaming experience and understand a variety of games from video games to board games and TTRPGs. You know how to handle clients and keep a game moving while ensuring clinical excellence. Nerds and Geeks most welcome!
The Creative:
You can think on your feet, adapt to unexpected player choices, and facilitate "Yes, and..." moments.
The Clinician:
You can take high-quality data without breaking the immersion. You understand that the win condition is the player's real-world growth. You are professional and know what boundaries need to be followed to maintain ethical guidelines. You are tired of compliance based ABA and believe the field can evolve into something much more beautiful.Hours:
This is a part time role with potential to become full time. Currently hours are primarily late afternoons (3:00 PM- 7:00 PM) or on Saturdays.
