Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' behavioral, academic, and social-emotional growth in a dynamic school setting. This full-time contract opportunity is tailored for a Registered Behavior Technician—or an individual with similar behavioral support expertise—dedicated to helping students thrive during the 2026-2027 school year. Collaborate with passionate teachers, therapists, and support personnel as you create positive outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.
What You'll Do:
Provide direct instructional, behavioral, and emotional support for students Assist with classroom activities, routines, and daily engagement Deliver behavioral interventions and implement student support plans Encourage positive participation and social interaction among students Collaborate with educators and specialists to address student goals Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in school, ABA, behavioral health, or similar settings preferred CPI certification, Safety-Care, or experience with de-escalation strategies is strongly valued Registered Behavior Technician certification (current or previous) highly regarded Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit Reliability, patience, and flexibility within a team environment Passion for helping students with varying behavioral and learning needs achieve their full potential
