Job Description

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred. Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and implement interventions. Strong observational and data collection skills. Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans. Collect accurate and detailed data on each client's progress. Participate in regular training and supervision sessions. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Assist in the preparation of materials and activities for therapy sessions. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients. Adapt to varying client needs and therapy environments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform physical activities such as running, bending, and kneeling. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
Additional Requirements:
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes or schools. Flexibility in work hours to meet client needs, including evenings and weekends. Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification maintenance.
Preferred:
Previous experience as an RBT or in a similar role. Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
