Job Description

Registered Behavior Technician Compassionate Behavior Insight, LLC Irving, TX 75060 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a critical role in supporting clients with behavioral needs under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT provides high-quality, ethical services across home, clinic, school, and community settings while fostering a positive experience for clients and their families.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect accurate and detailed data during therapy sessions
  • Assist in conducting skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction plans
  • Participate in client assessments and skill reassessments as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Professional and Ethical Conduct:
  • Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code and organizational policies at all times
  • Report concerns related to client welfare, service delivery, or ethical practices immediately to the supervising BCBA
  • Maintain current RBT certification and participate in ongoing training and development
  • Represent Frontera with professionalism, integrity, and respect both internally and externally
Communication and Client Interaction:
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Communicate openly and professionally with supervisors, providing updates on client progress and session concerns
  • Provide clear, supportive coaching to parents/caregivers when requested by the supervising BCBA
  • Adapt communication style to meet the needs of clients with diverse abilities and backgrounds
Leadership:
  • Model best practices for peers and newer team members
  • Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a solution-oriented mindset in daily work
  • Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
  • Show initiative in enhancing service quality and improving client outcomes
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, peers, clients, and families
  • Ability to follow detailed protocols and collect accurate data
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Reliable transportation for travel to client homes, schools, and clinic locations as needed
  • Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical practice
