Job Description

MWF client in Jarrell, additional hours open in Georgetown or Belton for full time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health needs. This role is essential in providing support and education to clients and their families, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately. Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) and personal care as needed. Educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and techniques to promote positive behavior changes. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, challenges, and modifications to care plans. Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering independence and skill development. Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and maintain accurate records of patient care. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices. Experience or knowledge in special education methodologies is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is essential. Ability to create, implement, and monitor care plans effectively. Proficient in documenting patient care accurately and comprehensively. Excellent interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate approach towards individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting a supportive environment. Ability to educate clients on behavioral strategies while encouraging their active participation in the treatment process.
